The programme was successfully conducted. Participants’ scripts were given to experts to mark and audit to ensure fairness and accuracy, after which results were posted online (see coinkwara.blogspot.com.ng).
Having known the scores of each student, the next and last stage of the programme was presentation of certificates with prizes to the participants. The participating schools preferred that the prizes be presented to the participants at their various schools. They explained that it would save the students a big stress of coming out in a weekend for the second time in the same programme, and moreover, they were about to start their exams. We agreed to this and collaborating organizations conducted presentation of certificates at different schools.

The two leaders of the schools, Mr. Tajudeen Ayanlere (principal) and Mrs. Abdullahi (Head Mistress) were the co-hosts.

Alhaji Babatunde was given the floor to address the audience after Mr. Ayanlere welcomed everyone to the event. He started by conveying the best wishes of the State governor, Alhaji AbdulFatah Ahmed to everyone present and all the participants, especially the award winners. He commended the organizers for such a developmental programme and also the schools for allowing their students to participate in such entrepreneurship development seminar and essay writing competition at young age. He encouraged the students to always work very hard as they could become any good thing they want to become in future, if they work hard. The merit award certificates and prizes were presented to winners by Alhaji Saka Babatunde.

Mr. Hanafi Olanrewaju Rabiu- Co-founder, Coin Consults and also the Director, Coinkwara Programme gave the breakdown of the seminar and competition. He explained that their main aim for organizing such programme was to expose the young students to seminar and entrepreneurship, and also to build their entrepreneurial and writing skills. He thanked the Evergreen International Schools for participating in the competition and was especially appreciative of the special guests for making out time to come and motivate the students out of their extremely tight schedule. He also announced the donations of gifts from Ggee Foods and Ayat Ponmo before inviting Mrs. Jimoh- CEO, Ggee foods to talk to the students.

Mrs. Jimoh in her remark advised the students to always pay close attention to the trade their parents are involved in as this could be the beginning of learning entrepreneurial skills from parents who are entrepreneurs. She also informed them of the importance of education in whatever they aimed at becoming in future. Citing herself as an example, she said, “I studied computer science and I am always very good at it but look at me now it is the processing and packaging of Ijebu Garri that everyone now knows me for”. She also explained that it was her education that made her product stands out when compared to what is obtainable in the market. Mrs. Jimoh presented the participation certificates to all the participants and also the gifts of exercise books to the school and the SSA.
